‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Premiere

Star Wars movies fans are so excited about the fresh ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ movie that hit theaters Friday, May 25.

According to some rumours, we will find out how Solo received the famous “Falcon”. The 25-year-old Alden Ehrenreich starring as a young and Millennium Falcon captain, Han Solo.

Also, Emilia Clarke will play Qi’Ra who could be a mother of Rey.

‘Star Wars’ Boba Fett spin-off movie

Just as Solo: A Star Wars Story reaches cinemas, word has reached the Hollywood trade press of a spin-off movie about everyone’s favourite bounty hunter, Boba Fett.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Mangold – who helmed last year’s Logan – will write and direct the movie, with Simon Kinberg (X-Men) serving as co-producer and co-writer. Kathleen Kennedy will also produce.

‘Upgrade’ trailer

‘Upgrade’ is a 2018 Australian science fiction action body horror film written and directed by Leigh Whannell. This has been described as a “thrilling and hyper-violent vision of the future” and it looks totally badass, these trailers are the best way to get people excited for this film.

Set in the near-future, technology controls nearly all aspects of life. But when Grey, a self-identified technophobe, has his world turned upside down, his only hope for revenge is an experimental computer chip implant called Stem.

‘Disenchantment’

Great news for all ‘The Simpsons’ fans! Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons, has a new animated series called Disenchantment coming to Netflix. It will be his first new show since Futurama, which debuted in 1999, and will air on 17 August.

The series takes place in the medieval kingdom of Dreamland and follows “hard-drinking” Princess Bean, her elf companion and her personal demon.

Initially, it will run for 10 episodes on the streaming service.

‘The Ice Dragon’

George R.R. Martin’s short children’s story “The Ice Dragon” will be made into an animated movie and Martin will be a producer on the film.

“The Ice Dragon” tells the story of Adara, a “winter child” who finds an ice dragon after her mother’s death. Her new friend must help her protect her home from the fiery enemy dragons of the North.

‘Arrow’ Season 7

ARROW season 6 has just ended after a devastating finale episode and it has officially been renewed at The CW.

The long-running DC Comics series was renewed for a seventh season back in April this year.

President of The CW Mark Pedowitz confirmed the news and said that Arrow would be back along with The Flash, Jane the Virgin and Riverdale, among others.

Pedowitz confirmed that the season would be back to fit in with the network’s “Fall 2018” scheduling.

Daniel Craig’s ‘James Bond’ release date

It’s been almost two years since James Bond last shot his way onto the silver screen, with Spectre acting as the 24th film in the 007 canon.

Bond 25 has officially been set for release on October 25th, 2019 in the UK and the US will see it two weeks later, on November 8th.

Twitch and BBC stream ‘Doctor Who’

BBC and Twitch Presents have partnered to bring the majority of Doctor Who’s classic episodes — the ones that aired between 1963 and ‘89 — to the live-streaming service’s platform, starting on May 29th and ending seven weeks later.

Doctor Who has been around for 55 years, which is an astonishing feat for any television series, and its longevity means that it has literal generations of fans who have grown up with the show. And it’s only become more popular in recent years — though it’s also become harder to watch.
