Asia Argento

The first time Jimmy Bennett met Argento at age of 7, when he played her son in The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things. In 2013, when Bennett was 17 and Argento was 37 they met at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey where she “gave Bennett alcohol, and performed oral sex on him and then had an intercourse.

Asia Argento also asked Bennett to take photos that recently were reviewed by The Times (on one of these, Bennett and Argento are in bed, both faces showed clearly).

After the incident, Bennett began to feel “extremely confused, mortified, and disgusted,” and later it ruined his career and life. To hide this in times of #MeToo rise, Argento paid him $380,000. In a letter to Argento in April, her lawyer says money was paid to “help Mr. Bennett”

“You are a powerful and inspiring creator and it is a miserable condition of life that you live among shitty individuals who’ve preyed on both your strengths and your weaknesses,” the letter reads.

Also, it was noticing that the age of consent in California at the time was 18, but the young actor just turned 17. Asia Argento is one of the most famous leaders of #MeToo movement, that’s why the news “hurt” even more.

Melanie Martinez

Melanie Martinez, an American singer and the finalist of The Voice 2012, was accused of rape by her old friend, Timothy Heller. The woman (Timothy) wrote “I have kept this secret for years, convincing myself that it wasn’t a big deal and I wasn’t hurt by it. The thought of accepting that my best friend raped me seems insane.”

On December 5, Martinez commented on the situation the following way,  “I am horrified and saddened by the statements and story told tonight by Timothy Heller, Martinez wrote. “What she and I shared was a close friendship for a period of time. We came into each other’s lives as we were both starting our careers as artists, and we tried to help each other. We both had pain in dealing with our individual demons and the new paths we were forging, but I truly felt we were trying to lift each other up.”

Cristina Garcia

Cristina Garcia is California state Assembly member (D), who was accused of groping and forcing men to perform various unwanted advances.

“Despite the decision that the most egregious allegations could not be substantiated, it is clear that Assemblymember Garcia has engaged in a pattern of behavior that must be addressed,” Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon stated.

Hollywood men and women assaulted

In November 2014, actor Shia LaBeouf publicly claimed that he had been raped by a woman during his #IAMSORRY performance art project in February.

As part of the project, LaBeouf sat in a room with a bag over his head while visitors interacted with him. Some held his hand, some said disparaging things, and apparently, one person sexually assaulted him. Read more about Hollywood men, who were victims of sexual assault.

It’s obvious that after the first allegation toward Harvey Weinstein, Hollywood will never be the same. The latest woman who joined the #MeToo campaign was Lynda Carter, who was sexually abused while playing Wonder Woman in the iconic ’70s TV show.

Here is the (incomplete) list of most famous actresses and actor who broke the silence after decades of keeping their heartbreaking stories in secret.
