Ariana Grande

The famous singer, Ariana Grande took Nos. 1, 2 & 3 on Billboard Hot 100 and became the first to achieve this milestone since The Beatles in 1964.

‘7 Rings’ is No.1 4 weeks in a row, ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’ is at No. 2 and ‘Thank U, Next’ gets to No. 3.

According to Billboard, Ariana Grande is the second one to claims these three places after The Beatles achieved it in 1964, that March 14, 21 and 28 and April 4 and 25.

When the singer noticed it, she tweeted: “What the f*** is going on?”

And then, Grande shared her emotions with fans, “I laughed when i saw this bc I thought y’all edited it. thank u from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote. “For so many reasons. first time since the Beatles huh. that’s wild. I thought this was a joke when I saw it I’m not kidding. I love u. so much. always have n will. thank u for everything.”

Post Malone 

Post Malone, the famous American rapper, broke the record for Most Simultaneous Top 20 Hot 100 Hits, taking over The Beatles.

The similar achievement was obtained by the Weeknd and Drake.

Drake 

Drake broke the record for Most Weeks at No. 1 by Any Artist in a Year on Billboard Hot 100, as ‘In My Feelings’ was on top for ten weeks in a row.

Also, according to Billboard,  Drake led the Hot 100 for a record-breaking 29 weeks in 2018:

  • 28 weeks, Usher, 2004
  • 26 weeks, The Black Eyed Peas, 2009
  • 19 weeks, Drake, 2016

It’s clear that hip-hop music is taking over the whole industry and making history, however, it looks like such pop-singers as Ariana Grande are also doing their best to achieve the top places.
