According to Business Insider, intends to slow down the previous iPhone models to increase iOS performance.

Nexter has previously talked about various iPhone conspiracy theories, and now the one has been confirmed.

So, what’s the problem, folks?

Briefly saying, is slowing down the speed in order to avoid the sudden shut down of the phone. So, when the iPhone tries to draw more power than the battery can use, it turns off.

Last year, the users of iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone SE have experienced this problem. In the near future, the same will happen to iPhone 7 with the release of iOS 11.2 update.

The developers are trying to assure us it’s done with good intentions – to improve iOS performance. However, do we actually need it?

People have been questioning reliability the since new iPhone X have been released. With every launch, the old models “slow down”:

However, users think differently: wouldn’t it be easier if they made an option and provided an opportunity to decide to slow down the phone to preserve reliability or not.

As we can see from this poll on Mashable, the half of the users of iPhones want to preserve the stability of the battery.
