‘Pokémon Go’ won’t work on older iPhones

Niantic stated the upcoming update for Pokémon Go will make it impossible to run the game on older iPhone (5, 5C) and iPad models.

The company decided to focus on devices that support iOS 11. On smartphones with the older version of the update, the game won’t work starting from February.

The developer warned that players using old devices will not be able to log into their accounts, spend coins of PokéCoins and use items from inventory.

For such users, the company recommends switching to newer smartphones and tablets. Easy to say, huh?

Apple autism ad scandal

Apple has released a new promotional video for the Autism Acceptance Month (celebrated on April 2). The hero of the video was 16-year-old teen Dillan from California.

Dillan doesn’t speak, but thanks to new technologies (Apple gadgets) he has the opportunity to communicate with people and express his thoughts.

In 2014, the whole world learned about his beautiful mind thanks to his speech at the high school graduation. Dillan typed words on the iPad and they were produced with the help of the built-in voice engine.

Quite a nice plot of the video, you say. But, a number of the professors of medical schools, institutions, and universities has expressed their doubt about it.

For instance, Howard Shane, a director of the Autism Language Program, states, “It is regrettable that this pseudo-scientific method was featured in an Apple promotional video and received worldwide viewing”.

Hard to say if it may be called an unethical move of Apple, but, Nexter thinks that the ad is quite inspiring as new technologies really open a new world.

TV-show from “Hunger Games” director

The creator of “Peaky Blinders” Steven Knight and director of “Hunger Games” Francis Lawrence will work on an Apple new fantasy series.

It is only known it will be a large-scale project, the action will take place in the future, and the duration will be limited to eight series.

It’s going to be the fourth project of Apple.

Apple allowed restoring a previous version of iOS

Apple might have accidentally begun to let iPhone and iPad to restore the older versions of iOS, up to iOS 6.

Thanks to this, anyone could return to the previous version of iOS. Unfortunately, this opportunity was not available for long and soon after the first messages, Apple fixed it, but a bunch of lucky people managed to take advantage of the chance.
