Why Apple Chicago Event 2018 Is Complete Disaster: App Store Bug, New iPad + 3 More Fails
Nexter.org has predicted some of Apple announcements on March 17, but there are a few more disappointing news from the company.
New iPad
The main announcement this year’s March presentation is the ‘budget’ iPad with an affordable price tag as it costs $299 for schools, but $329 for everyone else.
The tablet received improved features, for instance, it now supports $99 Apple Pencil, and its price will remain the same compared to the previous 9.7-inch iPad.

Schoolwork app
Apple introduced a series of new apps, including an educational app, Schoolwork. This software is designed to help the teacher to organize work in the classrooms.
Teachers will be able to upload digital assignments and students will have an opportunity to attach their tasks in PDF format inside the app.
It’s now an innovation, for sure, thus this news wasn’t exciting at all.

Logitech Stylus
Apple announced an affordable third-party stylus, Logitech Crayon, that works with the iPads.
It costs $49, which is less than Apple Pencil price: $89 for students and $99 for everyone else.

iWork
Apple Pencil (obviously) now works with iWork tool: you can add to the book handwritten notes and draw illustrations.
The iWork tool includes Pages (document), Numbers and Keynote (presentations) apps.
App Store bug
Yesterday, many iPhone users experienced a new bug from Apple: it prevented new downloads and updates for iOS apps.
We here on Nexter.org have seen this message too.

Apple officially confirmed that the issue spread worldwide and was also related to the iTunes Store and Mac App Store.
They have already fixed the bug, but haven’t stated why it appeared in the first place.
