President of US didn’t wait to express his thoughts about the accidents:
Our deepest sympathies and most heartfelt prayers are with the victims of the train derailment in Washington State. We are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with local authorities… pic.twitter.com/Gyf5BdVm4G

The train accident that just occurred in DuPont, WA shows more than ever why our soon to be submitted infrastructure plan must be approved quickly. Seven trillion dollars spent in the Middle East while our roads, bridges, tunnels, railways (and more) crumble! Not for long!

This accident shows the current state of infrastructure:
That Amtrak derailment is yet another reminder that America needs substantial infrastructure investment. Our priorities are all wrong. Tax cuts for the super rich and corporations are NOT more important than lifesaving investments in technology, transportation etc.

Down the rabbit hole of fantasy.
Before offering condolences to the families of those killed in the Amtrak cash, Trump suggests his infrastructure plan would have prevented it with more construction.
Meanwhile, his budget cuts $630 million in construction grants from Amtrak.
