Myra Tran, Age 19, Long Xuyên, Vietnam
She performed “One Night Only” from Dreamgirls. Many think that Tran showed the best outfit and the best vocal for the show premiere.
Tran shared the memory when she first wished to be on stage. “When I was in sixth grade, I heard Whitney Houston,” she continued. “I [realized] that, oh, this is my passion. And I wished that one day I [would be] on that stage. I will sing like her. So [embarrassing], but that’s the truth.”
