New Echo Dot

In Amazon, they say that the design for new Echo Dot was created from scratch. The column received a more powerful 1.6-inch driver and now sounds 70% louder and clearer than the previous model. It has both Bluetooth and Aux-out if you want to connect it to a larger speaker.

The price didn’t change – the new Echo Dot also costs $ 49.99.

Alexa Guard

Alexa Guard is a home security system from Amazon. When it is enabled, Alexa can remotely notify the user of suspicious sounds, for example, if the glass is broken. To do this, it is enough to put the Guard in the “not at home” mode, before leaving, giving the command “Alexa, I’m leaving”.

Alexa Guard also has Away Lighting mode, which uses machine learning to turn the light on and off, as if you were at home. Thus, the system can scare off the robbers.

Amazon introduced a microwave oven with a built-in voice assistant Alexa. It supports dozens of fast voice commands, which should simplify cooking. You just need to command: “Two minutes and 30 seconds on average power” or “unfreeze vegetables” – and the microwave will start the desired mode.

The microwave will cost $ 59.99.

Echo Wall Clock

The new Amazon wall clock, like the microwave, connects to the Echo via Bluetooth. The user can set timers, signals and change the time by the voice commands.

Amazon’s smart display got an improved screen (now 10 inches) and sound. By analogy with Echo Plus, it can serve as a hub for smart devices. Also this is Alexa’s best assistant when it comes to recognizing voice commands. Amazon claims that its eight-microphone array is the best system that the company has ever delivered.

Amazon added web browsers to Echo Show, including its own Silk and Firefox, and also announced a Skype application that will allow users to make calls directly from the Show.

The second-generation Echo Show will cost $229.99.

Amazon Smart Plug

The plug is equipped with a Wi-Fi-module. You just need to connect the plug to the outlet, then attach the appliance to it – and control, for example, a coffee machine, using voice commands via Echo.

Smart Plug costs $24.99 and is available for pre-order from September 20th.

The Stick Up Cam can be used for both indoor and outdoor surveillance. The camera is equipped with motion sensors and night vision and transmits from cameras to a user’s device in 1080p resolution. The camera will be available with both wired and battery-powered configurations. Both configurations will cost $179.99.
