Twitter tragedy

Yesterday, the man running Twitter with CEO Jack Dorsey, Anthony Noto, resigned to take a CEO role at SoFi.

Social Finance Inc. (SoFi) announced that 49-year-old Noto would be a chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors since March 1.

Noto was the person who knew Twitter better than anyone, that’s why it’s a bad sign for financially struggling company.

Facebook and its new “flick”

Facebook invented a new unit of time called flick. Its main purpose is to make the processing of video and audio files more convenient and effective.

Flick designed for artists and programmers who deal with graphics and sound.

A flick, derived from “frame-tick”, is 1/705,600,000 of a second – the next unit of time after a nanosecond.

If you use a decimal record, the flick will be written as follows: 1.417233560090703e-9.

It is longer than a nanosecond, but less than a microsecond. The number can be divided by 8, 16, 22.05, 24, 25, 30, 32, 44.1, 48, 50, 60, 90, 100, 120.

Snapchat new “Stories” feature
