5 Worst Food Proposal Trends Ever That Worth Saying “No”

A proposal is one of the cutest and most memorable moment that marks your intention to create a family.

But sometimes there are weird and disgusting ways to ask her to be your wife.

Avocado wedding proposals

The latest engaging trend among millennials is avocado proposing. Very simple and… silly.

All you need is an avocado with a ring inside. Essentially you cut the fruit in half, dig out the pit, insert the ring in its place, and reunite both halves of the avocado to conceal the ring, creating a makeshift box.

What went wrong with this world?

 Milkshake with a surprise

If you haven’t decided yet whether you want to marry or kill your second half – let the fortune to decide.

One funny story is about Reed Harris who hid the engagement ring in a Wendy’s frosty milkshake and of course his girlfriend – Kaitlin Whipple – swallowed it but didn’t notice.

So Harris had to take her for an x-ray to prove it.

Eventually, Whipple passed the ring and Harris proposed again—after cleaning it. Months later, the couple is married.mariage-proposal-photo

Hot Dog Ring?

It’s still unexplained thing why fast food attracts so many people to propose with but this sausage with a ring make us say “No”!

Burger proposal

There are a million reasons why putting a ring in your prospective fiance’s food is a terrible idea, especially when it’s a budget chicken sandwich from your local fast food restaurant.

Seems that she loved him very much as answered: “I Do”.

Ring in a cake

One more brilliant idea is to hide a ring in a cake.

For example, a Chinese woman passed out in after accidentally swallowing an engagement ring her boyfriend had hidden in a cake.

Mr Chen, of Xinyan Town, Fuqing City, said he was inspired by romantic movies in which leading men hid rings in cakes and gave them to their girlfriends.

“I imagined the surprise on her face, mixed with happiness,” he regretfully told the Southeast Morning Post.

Instead, his girlfriend Wen fainted when she saw Chen get down on one knee.

“I realized I had just swallowed the ring with a full mouth of cake,” she said.

Chen called the police, who immediately sent Wen to hospital. Doctors used a catheter to retrieve the ring from her stomach.

On waking up, Wen accepted Chen’s marriage proposal.
