5 Top Worst Indie Games in 2017

2002

Every gamer surely will find a couple of games that cause a desire to scream something like, “Oh, no, they’ve spoiled it again!”.

Let’s review with Nexter what this year has brought us.

1. Torment: Tides of Numenera

It seemed that this game was to be the best RPG of the year. But it turned out quite the opposite. With the $4 million collected at Kickstarter, and even with an additional cash register added by private investors, the audience expected something like a masterpiece.

Unfortunately, the game is dull and boring. A lot of people hasn’t even understand what this surreal story is about.

2. Purrfect Date

And agaaain, another dating simulator. The ugly cats and absolutely boring dating scenarios combined with the black British humor. What can be even worse?

3. Don’t Knock Twice

A first-person horror game based on an urban legend – to save her abandoned daughter, the mother should overcome a number of obstacles and learn the truth.

Based on the movie, “Don’t Knock Twice” game is as bad as the movie.

4. Defend the Cake

“Defend the Cake” is a strategic tower defense game, but it looks more likely as the developers are out of ideas.

5. Terroir

There is no training in the game. Absolutely none. You have to learn everything by yourself. Your wine can be ruined anything – from an improperly chosen bottle to the weather.

Most of the players will not be to understand how it works and will think that it’s boring and complicated.
