In a nutshell about the 2019 BAFTA ceremony
“Roma” and “The Favourite” won the biggest awards at BAFTA 2019 on Sunday.
For instance, Roma took the best film, best film not in the English language, best director and best cinematography.
The Favourite was nominated for 12 categories and won seven awards.
A Star is Born also wasn’t left aside and went home with 7 awards as well, including best actor, best director, and Lady Gaga for best actress, but walked away with just one award, for original music.
Bohemian Rhapsody won 2 awards, and it seems that the scandal related to the director didn’t influence the award ceremony.
