2018 Most Anticipated Movies – Please, Don’t Let Us Down


Nexter has already summed up the best and worst movies in 2017 and now it is time to look in the future and begin to count the days till release of most anticipated films of 2018.

Here’s a list of we all expect in the next year.

Molly’s Game

Release date: 5 January
Description: The true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game and became an FBI target.

Paddington 2

Release date: 12 January
Description: Paddington, now happily settled with the Brown family and a popular member of the local community, picks up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, only for the gift to be stolen.

Avengers: Infinity War

Release date: 4 May
Description: The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Ocean’s 8

Release date: 8 June
Description: Debbie Ocean gathers a crew to attempt an impossible heist at New York City’s yearly Met Gala.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Release date: 22 June
Description: When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen and Claire mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.

Sicario 2: Soldado

Release date: 29 June
Description: The drug war on the US-Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver re-teams with the mercurial Alejandro.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

Release date: 20 July
Plot details are still unknown. It’s going to be a Sequel to the 2008 musical comedy ‘ Mamma Mia!’

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Release date: 2 November 2018
Description: A young girl is transported into a magical world of gingerbread soldiers and an army of mice.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Release date: 16 November
Description: The second installment of the ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ series which follows the adventures of Newt Scamander.

Mortal Engines

Release date: 14 December
Description: “Many years after the “Sixty Minute War,” cities survive a now desolate Earth by moving around on giant wheels attacking and devouring smaller towns to replenish their resources.”
