10 Top Grossing Actors in 2017 – You’ll Never Guess Who’s In (INFOGRAPHIC)

Сhizzled, hairless men are in fashion again – that’s a conclusion Nexter made according to the Forbes list of the Top Grossing Actors of 2017.

Forbes made a list basing on 2017 global ticket sales of major actors’ films, in which they had top billing. Animated films were excluded.

Vin Diesel – $1.6 billion

Diesel topped the list, with shocking figure of $1.6 billion in global ticketing receipts. Thanks to his movies that raised $1.6 billion in global ticket sales, mostly on the strength of The Fate of the Furious, which became the second-highest grossing film in the series. The 50-year-old action star also got some help from his other 2017 flick, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.

Dwayne Johnson – $1.5 billion

Dwayne Johnson is No. 2 in the list with $1.5 billion. The film Fate of the Furious brought him $1.2 billion global gross that is much more than the embarrassment of Baywatch, which managed a paltry $178 million worldwide.

Gal Gadot – $1.4 billion

Rounding out the top three is Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot, whose movies amassed $1.4 billion worldwide. Her Patty Jenkins’ superhero flick debut tallied $822 million worldwide and made her Gadot most grossing actress in 2017. The ensemble under-performer Justice League added millions more to Gadot’s score.

Emma Watson – $1.3 billion

British actresses Emma Watson – who starred in the highest-grossing film of the year, Beauty and the Beast follows Gal Gadot with $1.3billion.

Johnny Depp – $1.1 billion

Together with performances in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Murder on the Orient Express Johnny “still got it” with global box office of $1.1 billion.

Daisy Ridley – $1.08 billion

Daisy Ridley, thanks to her reprisal of Rey in the Star Wars sequel is on the 6th position. Seems, that shirtless scene of Adam Driver didn’t help him to get in the Forbes list this year. That’s a pity.

Tom Holland – $888 million

Tom Holland made it to seventh place with global earnings of $888 million dollars mostly bolstered by his revival of a comic book hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Chris Pratt – $864 million

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 helped Chris to get in the top 10 most grossing actors with his $864 million global box office.

Chris Hemsworth – $845 million

Chris Hemsworth and his Thor: Ragnarok that roared more than $800 million worldwide, finishing 9th in the list with $845 million.

John Boyega – $815 million

John locking down the number 10 spot with $815 million thanks to Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Boyega also appeared in films Detroit and The Circle.
