Bled Castle was first mentioned under its German name Feldes in 1004, when it was granted to Emperor Henry II of Albuin, Bishop of Brixen. It’s a castle built on top of a 130-meter steep cliff above the lake.

It is original arctic resort surrounded by nature and is located in the ski area Saariselkä of the Finnish Lapland region.

Kakslauttanen arctic resort offers glass houses, traditional wooden chalets and the world’s largest Finnish sauna. Also, it’s one of the best places to see Northern Lights.
